We have eaten there for years. The family, especially the mom is sweet and friendly. Best soda fountain mix in town. The inside of the restaurant could use a good cleaning. Ceiling grills are very dirty as well as chair frames and table edges are gross and sticky. Walls need painted and general maintenance, needs new decorations, wall art. Just do a deep cleaning and would be much better.

Food is good Always fresh when we go. Just wish they will upgrade the atmosphere.

As stated in previous reviews, can definitely use some touch ups and cleaning, but for the price you really can't beat it. Family owned and that To-Go box would keep me fed for days. This is the place to go for Asian cuisine in Alamogordo.

The food is quite good and constantly served fresh. The staff are really caring and nice! Always enjoy take as the price range for the amount of food you get is amazing!

Cheap eats, reasonably good, excellent per dollar value.

Food was recycled. Was cold. I got very sick to the stomach afterwards. Tables salt pepper shakers needed a good cleaning. Never again.

Decent prices for decent food. The General tso's and sesame chicken are just floating in their sauce, so they are a bit soggy. Quite dim in there, so it feels a bit homey, but also gives off a sleepy feel to it.

Great food, great selection from a little place.

I believe they have the best and freshest buffet food of all of the other buffet style restaurants in maybe New Mexico. The employees/family are always refreshing the food so nothing is overcooked stale or old. The staff is very friendly and you can get your food to go. Try the egg drop soup!

One of the two best Chinese places in town. A must visit. Come hungry, leave happy.

$7.50 lunch till 4pm. $10 dinner after 4pm. Food was of mediocre quality and taste. Vegetarian options are there, but few. The buffet is mostly Chinese food. With 1 Tray of sushi rolls. 2 trays of noodles. 2 trays of rice. Many trays of different kinds of chicken. 1 or 2 of beef. 1 of pork. 1 potatoes. 1 spring rolls. 1 crab. 1 shrimp. 1 fish. A few salad options. And a few desert options. Place has tables and booths. Simple. Functional. Ambience is not the reason to go there. Views from window booths are of the main drag in town. Fast food joints and empty sidewalks. Rest room was clean enough. Free parking in front. Seems a Chinese family runs this place. I saw 2 employees. One Native man. One Black woman. A for hiring local and diverse. B for food quality. C for decor. The man was nice. Bussed my table quickly.

Good food, tasty large variety of dishes - seafood and fried rice were especially good, deserts were ok. Service is friendly and fast

The only place I can find crab rangoons and hot and sour soup locally. It's great food for the price and their snow shrimp is fantastic!

My husband loves this place. Every time we are in Alamo he wants to go there. And they have almond cookies which I love. Lol the food also good.

Nice clean buffet, but you can also order from one of their menu options if you would like. Nice place with good food and good portions if you order from the menu. The inside is clean. They could use a sign update for their outside sign since it says they are open 7 day when they are only open for six. They do not do free delivery anymore, but rather you go through a local delivery service. Overall outside of the advertising mishaps this place is a great place to stop by and try.

Under the Consumer Rights Act you have a right to expect food of satisfactory quality and 'as described' on the menu. If it is not, the restaurant is in breach of contract and you shouldn't have to pay for it. but I didn't know my rights and pay anyway!

Food was fresh and tasty. Buffet has three packed tables plus a side table, quite full for the size of the dining area. My lunch, without drink, was under $10 with tip (partial table service, with buffet). The staff was friendly and the service was good. Re. firearms, there were no special signs at the door, but I did not open carry or notice anyone else doing so.

Seriously what is that smell?! Its not food, its not anything i can put my finger on. But its not good. The food was meh. The staff was very polite. Poor lighting. The ribs were delicious tho. Just grab a huge plate of ribs. Only thing worth it.

Excellent food. All the meat dishes featured really tender, flavorful meat. The veggies were fresh and the had a really wide selection. You won’t be sorry if you decide on dinner here

One of my favorite two Chinese buffets here in town... Empire is my other favorite. The others are okay. I really wish we had a 10 star scoring system because it would give you wiggle room. The folks here are nice. The food is good. The have an ice cream machine, which... as a fat guy I like...

I really really love this restaurant. The food is always good and consistent. I really wish they would bring back thier Mongolian grill. That was the best part about it. If they would get a bigger place and Mongolian grill. This would be the most popular place in Alamogordo!

We visited this buffet during a spring break trip to Carlsbad Caverns. My three children and myself arrived about a half hour before closing. The buffet was modest, but acceptable and the children all found things they would enjoy for dinner. The servers were not talkative, but the atmosphere was comfortable for families. While nothing outstanding, we got exactly what we were looking for. The decor is tired in the space, but the food was good and filling. I would recommend a stop here if looking to feed a group at a modest price.

A nice smaller family owned buffet. They are closed Mondays but are in my opinion the best for your money in town. It is always quiet and well tended during lunch and dinner.

I am not a critic when it comes to Chinese buffet, but something as simple as stir fry noodles should not be mealy. Both soup had too much cornstarch. There were many variations of chicken dishes which I didn't try except for the fried chicken wings which I thought was very good, as well as the mussels. Another patron wanted a refill on her coffee but was told it would cost $1.50. Take a clue from IHOP. They leave the whole pot on your table. It would have cost the restaurant 20 cents for the whole pot and the waiter might have gotten another $1 of tip and a returning customer. They have nice looking ice cream in little cups but a sign clearly states it cannot be taken to-go.Also, this restaurant does not have Mongolian bbq, contrary to what Google map indicates. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
